Overview Glash is designed as a local-first application. Most information you enter or create is stored on your device. Glash does not require you to create an account. The current version does not include built-in real-time email or calendar synchronization. Some optional features may communicate with services provided by Apple or with a compatible AI service that you select and authorize. ## 2. Information Processed by Glash Glash may process the following information: ### Schedule and Class Information This may include course names, start and end times, weekdays, locations, course types, tags, preparation notes, and import-review information. You may enter this information manually or import it from text, photographs, screenshots, scans, or voice recordings. ### Tasks and Study Information This may include task titles, notes, due dates, completion status, and references to study materials or files. ### AI Conversations If you use Glash’s assistant, your conversation history may be stored locally on your device. When you use an optional cloud AI feature, your message and the context required to answer it are sent to the compatible AI service you selected and authorized. ### AI Configuration If you configure a compatible AI service, Glash may store settings such as the service address and model selection. API keys are stored using Apple’s Keychain technology. ### Preferences Glash may store settings such as appearance, notification preferences, privacy options, and interface choices. ## 3. Device Permissions Depending on the features you use, Glash may request permission to access: • Camera or photo library, when you choose to import a schedule image • Microphone and speech recognition, when you choose to record or transcribe speech • Files, when you choose a file to import or reference • Notifications and Live Activities, when you enable reminders or Focus Session updates These permissions are requested only when relevant to a feature. You can change them at any time in your device’s Settings app. Glash does not continuously listen through your microphone or automatically read your email or calendar. ## 4. Optional Cloud AI Cloud AI features are optional. When you use one of these features, Glash sends your message and relevant context to the compatible AI provider you have selected and authorized. That provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy. Private AI Mode removes course and task titles from the contextual information sent to the AI provider. However, the message you submit is still sent to that provider. You should not include passwords, API keys, financial information, health information, or other highly sensitive data in AI conversations. Glash presents AI-generated changes as proposals that require your confirmation. AI features do not silently modify your classes or tasks. ## 5. How Information Is Used Information is processed to: • Display and organize your schedule • Import and review class information • Manage tasks and study-material references • Provide reminders and Live Activities • Respond to assistant requests • Save your preferences • Diagnose problems when you voluntarily contact support Glash does not use your information for advertising. ## 6. Sharing of Information Glash does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary to provide a feature you choose to use, including: • Apple system services used for notifications, speech recognition, secure storage, backups, and Live Activities • A compatible AI provider selected and authorized by you • Legal authorities when disclosure is required by applicable law Third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. ## 7. Data Storage and Retention Classes, tasks, preferences, material references, and conversation history are generally stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall Glash. Information included in device backups may remain in those backups according to your Apple and iCloud settings. Using Glash’s data-clearing feature removes Glash’s locally stored application data, AI configuration, saved API key, pending Glash notifications, and active Live Activity information where supported. Deleting local data does not automatically delete information previously processed or retained by a third-party AI provider. Contact that provider for information about its retention and deletion practices. ## 8. Data Security Glash uses platform security features, including local application storage and Apple Keychain for supported credentials. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any third-party AI credentials you configure. ## 9. Children’s Privacy Glash is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law to consent to data processing without parental authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Glash inappropriately, contact us at [[privacy@example.com](mailto:privacy@example.com)]. ## 10. International Processing If you use a cloud AI provider, your information may be processed in countries or regions outside your place of residence. The provider’s privacy policy explains its processing locations and safeguards. ## 11. Your Choices You can: • Decline optional permissions • Disable notifications or Live Activities • Avoid using cloud AI features • Enable Private AI Mode • Delete individual classes, tasks, and conversations • Clear Glash’s locally stored data • Uninstall the application You may also contact us with privacy-related questions at andyxecm@gmail.com ## 12. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy when Glash’s features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated policy will display a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application or its App Store listing. ## 13. Contact For privacy questions or requests, contact: **Email:** andyxecm@gmail.com ## 14.
